Leaders
In order to faithfully follow the vision that God has given us, and to care for
all the people who make up the church as we pursue this vision together, God gives
leaders to his community. Trevor Lloyd gives the overall lead to the church and
there are many members of the church who lead different areas, like youth work,
worship, children’s work etc.
Trevor is also joined by three other elders and together they take responsibility
for the oversight of the whole church.
Please take time to read about the four elders below.
Trevor Lloyd
Trevor Lloyd is the leading elder of the church. He has been in church
leadership since 1994 and was also a teacher of English and Religious
Studies before moving to lead the church here in 1998. He is married to
Alison and they have four children who are still at school. Trevor
gives the main prophetic lead to the church as well as overseeing the
teaching and discipleship programme and the leadership development.
Allan Hinchliffe
Allan Hinchliffe has been a member of the church since it’s beginning in the
early 1980’s when he was a teenager. Allan works as the General Manager
of an established local home improvement company, where he is
responsible for the day to day running of the organisation. He has been
married to his wife Jill for nearly 20 years and they have three
children. Allan has a strong prophetic gifting and also works closely
with the pastoral care team.
Brendan Cosgrove
Brendan
came to Huddersfield as a student to study History and Politics.
He is married to Sara and has two teenage girls. Brendan is a
National Account manager for a large packaging company. Within
the church Brendan’s main responsibility is for ‘Heart of the
House’. This involves amongst other things, ensuring there are
people to host and welcome visitors and church members and making sure
that Jubilee Centre is pleasant and friendly place for all who use
it. In his spare time Brendan likes to read big books about
military history!
Trevor Shotter
Trevor
Shotter studied for his degree here at Huddersfield University, and
then taught Mathematics at Huddersfield Technical College until coming
into full-time church leadership in 2004. He had already been an elder
in the church since 1996. He met his wife Sonya at University and they
have four children, two of whom have now flown the nest. Trevor heads
up the pastoral care and oversight of the church, as well as overseeing
its administration.
